On October 25, 1982, Utusan Malaysia newspaper reported the resignation of PAS president Datuk Mohd. Asri Muda along with three other veteran party figures today is considered a signthe disintegration and collapse of PAS‘ this may happen in the future.
Several party leaders from the Barisan Nasional wing and academics agree that Datuk Asri’s decision is a reaction to the youth’s dissatisfaction with his leadership and wants a change in the current leadership.

- October 25, 1973 – More 5,000 pieces Reverend Za’ba’s book will be immortalized in “Kumpulan Za’ba” at the University of Malaya Library.
- October 25, 1977 – Establishment of an Economic Association Malaysia-Japan composed of representatives private sector both countries will be launched in Kuala Lumpur in early November.
- October 25, 1979 – Security services Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia is expanded and security inspection equipment and personnel are also added.
