(KTLA) – “Will & Grace” star Leslie Jordan has died, her agent confirmed Monday.
Jordan’s car crashed into a Hollywood building at 9:30 a.m., police said. Law enforcement officials told NewzBugs that Jordan appeared to have suffered some sort of medical emergency.
Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jordan is best known for his roles as Lonnie Garr on “Hearts Fire” and Beverly Leslie on “Will & Grace.” Also appears in ‘Cool Kids’, ‘Call Me Kate’ and ‘American Horror Story’.
The actor and comedian went viral for his hilarious videos during the social media pandemic.
“The world today would certainly be a darker place without the love and light of Leslie Jordan,” her agent David Shore said in a statement.
“Not only was he a talented and collaborative man, but he provided an emotional refuge for the nation during one of its most difficult times. As a son, brother, artist, comedian, partner and human being, he was undersized, he made up for it with generosity and greatness. Knowing that he left this world at the peak of his career and personal life is the only consolation today.”
“My heart is broken,” former “Will & Grace” actor Sean Haynes Tweets “Leslie Jordan is one of the funniest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone who met him loved him. There will never be anyone like him. A unique talent with a huge, loving heart. You will be missed my dear friend.”
Jordan is 67 years old.
